Interlocking of ABB circuit breakers

I. ABB circuit breaker closing and opening principle and circuit breaker anti-jumping principle

Interlocking of ABB circuit breakers

1. Closing and blocking: The circuit breaker can be closed only when the circuit breaker is in the test position or in the working position. As shown in the figure below: when the circuit breaker is in position, the S3 (21-22) contacts are closed, and only when the circuit breaker is in the test position, the S8 (43-44) contacts are closed or the S9 (43-44) contacts are closed in the working position, at this time The DC 220V voltage can be applied to both ends of the closing blocking release Y1, so that its own contact S2 (0-2) is closed and the closing circuit is connected. Except for the above two situations, the closing circuit cannot be connected.

⒉. Circuit breaker closing: Simply put, the closing is completed by adding DC 220V voltage to both ends of the circuit breaker closing release Y3. As shown in the figure below: When the 220V voltage is applied to V3, the VD4 handcart The internal KO (1-2) contact is closed---1 (13-14) contact is closed---53 (31-32) contact is closed---S2 (0-2) contact is closed, at this time, the voltage of 220V is closed Adding it to both ends of the closing release Y3, the closing of the VD4 handcart is completed. When the internal closing circuit of the VD4 handcart is turned on, the following operations can be completed:

a: Local closing of the circuit breaker: Unlock the key for power-on--the local/remote switch SM302 is switched to the in-place position--the on-off switch SM301 is unlocked and switched to the closing position to complete the local closing.
b: The circuit breaker is closed by remote control: give the power-on and unlock the key----the local/remote switch SM302 is switched to the remote position---close on the ECS to complete the remote control closing.

3. Opening of the circuit breaker: Simply put, the opening of the circuit breaker can be completed by adding the voltage of DC_220V to both ends of the Y2 of the circuit breaker opening release. The S4 (13-14) contacts inside the car are closed, and the 220V voltage is applied to both ends of the opening release Y2, which completes the opening of the VD4 handcart. When the internal brake circuit of the VD4 handcart is turned on, the following operations can be completed:

a: Local opening of the circuit breaker: Unlock the key for power-on---unlock the opening and closing switch SM301 and switch to the opening position to complete the local opening
b: Remote control opening of circuit breaker: Unlock the key for power-on --- switch SM302 local/remote to the remote position. --- Open on the ECS to complete the remote control opening.
c: Protection trip: When the relay protection acts and the trip exits, the circuit breaker opens.
d: Manual trip: directly press the opening button on the VD4 handcart, the circuit breaker will be opened.

4. Circuit breaker anti-jump: Anti-jump simply means to prevent the circuit breaker from jumping and closing continuously. As shown in the figure below: After the circuit breaker trips, if the closing circuit is always connected, after the circuit breaker is closed once, the anti-jump blocking electromagnet KO is energized, and its contact KO (1-2) is disconnected, and the circuit breaker cannot complete the down Closing once.

Interlocking of ABB circuit breakers

II. ABB circuit breaker interlock to prevent misoperation

1. Interlock in the cabinet:

a. When the grounding switch and circuit breaker are in the "off" position, the handcart can move from "test" to "work" position.
b. The circuit breaker can only be closed (electrical interlock) when it is in the "test" position or "work" position.
c. When the handcart is in the "test" or "work" position without control voltage, the circuit breaker cannot be closed, but can only be opened manually.
d. The secondary plug-in can be unplugged only when the handcart is in the "test" position.
e. The grounding switch can be closed only when the handcart is in the "test" position or "pull out" position.
f. When the grounding switch is closed, the handcart cannot be moved from the "test" to the running position.

2. Interlocking of door panels:

a. The door of the circuit breaker room is open, and the handcart cannot be rolled into the running position.
b. When the handcart is in the running position or the middle position, the door of the circuit breaker room cannot be opened.
c. The cable room door is open, and the grounding switch cannot be closed.
d. The grounding switch is off, and the cable room door cannot be opened.
