ABB offers its premium aluminum motor range in frame sizes 80-250 that meets the need of the global market and in the power range of 0.75–55 kW. They meet the IE2 IE3 premium efficiency standard for the 50 Hz and 60 Hz markets and are available in 400 V/50Hz and 440/460 V/60Hz in 2-, 4-, and 6-pole versions.

These motors are reliable during continuous opera- tion due to the low operating temperature of the motor.

Product offering Aluminum motors in sizes 80 to 250 in the K-genera- tion range are designed to meet the CENECLEC standards for both 50 Hz and 60 Hz. The motors are CE-marked and have cUL safety cer- tifications and comply with efficiency requirements in Europe, Australia, China, the US and Canada.

The bearings are encapsulated and greased for life to prevent contamination to ensure long ser- vice intervals. PTC thermistors are standard in sizes 100–250 to prevent breakdowns due to overloading. The energy consumption, reliability and mainte- nance intervals result in low running costs through the lifetime of the motors.
